After years of bringing together researchers and practitioners at the forefront of memory systems research, the MEMSYS conference series has come to an end. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to making MEMSYS a vibrant and impactful venue — authors, reviewers, attendees, sponsors, and organizers alike.
Transitioning to a Journal
The MEMSYS community’s work is far from over. To provide a more lasting and accessible home for high-quality research in memory systems, we are in the process of establishing a dedicated journal. Further details on the journal — including scope, submission guidelines, and timeline — will be announced here in due course. We look forward to continuing to serve the community in this new format.
In-Memory & Memory-Centric Computing
For researchers working in the areas of in-memory computing and memory-centric computing, we encourage you to submit your work to our sister conference, Cross-disciplinary Conference on Memory-Centric Computing (CCMCC). CCMCC provides an excellent forum for this closely related and rapidly evolving field. More information can be found at https://ccmcc.eclectx.org.
Thank you for being part of the MEMSYS journey!
Memory-device manufacturing, memory-architecture design, and the use of memory technologies by application software all profoundly impact today’s and tomorrow’s computing systems, in terms of their performance, function, reliability, predictability, power dissipation, and cost. Existing memory technologies are seen as limiting in terms of power, capacity, and bandwidth. Emerging memory technologies offer the potential to overcome both technology- and design-related limitations to answer the requirements of many different applications. Our goal is to bring together researchers, practitioners, and others interested in this exciting and rapidly evolving field, to update each other on the latest state of the art, to exchange ideas, and to discuss future challenges.
Welcome to MEMSYS
